Cat Prozac
Posted by Bill under Cat Goings-On
Today we finally took Jasper to the vet AGAIN because of his random peeings. Since we’ve run the gamut of possible normal solutions, we’ve had to upgrade.
Yes, Jasper is now on prozac (fluoxetine). Hopefully it calms him down a bit too… but who knows.
Next up after this project: Jasper’s gingivitis.
… if only he weren’t so damned cute …

Alright, I’m starting to use Flickr again… I have a lot of pictures that I eventually want to put up there. Problem is, I’m only using a free account right now so I have to be careful with what I upload.
So for now, I’ve stuck to just a few photos of my cats. Yeah, I know I sound like an old lady.
Deal.

Harry Potter Deaths
Posted by Bill under This and That
So supposedly at least two characters are going to die in the final Harry Potter book. Frankly I’m not surprised… although I’m surprised there’s not more. My guess is that JK Rowling meant two major characters.
SPOILER ALERT!!!
As of now, if I had to guess, I’d say we should be expecting both Snape and Voldemort to go down, albeit for entirely different reasons.
I am pretty positive that Snape is going to redeem himself and end up having been working for the Order of the Phoenix all along. He’s going to end up sacrificing himself in the end.
I also think that Harry is going to go out like a Christ figure. There’s been a lot of allusions to the Christian story throughout this battle for good and evil - and Rowling herself has said that her religious convictions will play into the way the story ends … and even though I’m no expert on her, I’m pretty sure she’s not a devil worshipper or anything.
//END SPOILER ALERT
Anyway, I haven’t had too much time to really think about this - so my mind may change. We’ll see.

Getting Back on Track
Posted by Bill under General News
Well, it’s been a long time since I wrote anything for the book. That’s all about to change now though. Once I finish reading the book I’m currently reading (The Book of the Dead by Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child) I’m planning on digging back into writing once again.
Stay tuned to the site for progress updates on the book itself, as well as anything else I feel like talking about. Not only will beinggod.com be the home of the book, but it’s also my new official home.
Goodbye monkeyville, goodbye music-critic, and hopefully goodbye MySpace.
