I was curious if anyone else is having problems with their Wii Remote?  I have been searching everywhere on the Internet trying to find someone with the same problem as me, and I can’t find anything.

Here’s what’s going on:
1.)     Wii Remote worked fine during setup.  Made a Mii, played Wii Sports, everything is fine.
2.)     Plugged in a gamecube controller and put Super Monkey Ball 2 (Gamecube) into the Wii.
3.)     Wii Remote stops working, can never get it to work again.
4.)     Symptoms:
a.       Only works when I hold it on its left-hand side (tilted).  When this works, it’s erratic and doesn’t follow hand motions properly.
b.       Disappears randomly.
c.       When I start Zelda, it tells me to connect my Nunchuk – which is already connected.
5.)     What I’ve tried.
a.       Resynching (both with buttons and with the “home” reconnection option).
b.       Moving Sensor Bar (also checked for IR lights on Sensor Bar – they’re there)
c.       Turning Lights in room on and off
d.       Power down and restart system.
e.       Unplugged system
f.         Reformatted System (this fixed the problem for about 2 seconds during setup, then it all went to crap again).
g.       Calling and emailing customer support at Nintendo.  They won’t take calls, and no response from e-mail.

This seems to me like a fairly serious problem with the system.  What’s strange is that I haven’t heard anyone else have the problem.  The system worked for a bit, but then it just stopped working.

I can’t check to see if it’s a faulty controller, as they’re sold out everywhere.  Either way, this is definitely an issue.
