“You see, the ancient Egyptians, like all of us here tonight, knew that truth lie in the heart – not in the brain as we’ve all been taught. It’s the heart which makes us strong, which stores our soul… and it’s worth preserving.”

Posted by Bill under This and That

So I decided to finally go ahead and try out Amazon’s Kindle.  I’ve been wanting one since they were first announced, and decided that it’s time to finally act.

It should be here tomorrow.  I’ll post thoughts on it once I’ve spent some time with it.

Saw this last night.  Scariest thing I’ve seen in a long time… definitely recommended.

The Dirty Jasper: What It Looks Like

Posted by Bill under Cat Goings-On, This and That

As mentioned in my October 21, 2006 posting, I have invented my own drink, The Dirty Jasper.  In the time since, the drink has been further perfected, but I am hesitant to share the genius recipe with the world.

For now, you will have to settle for a glimpse of this masterpiece.  I am also happy to make you one, should you visit our homestead.
